Control surface movement

by Dan
(Waddell, Az)

For control surface travel, what does 5/8 up/down mean? Is 5/8" total travel movement, or is it 5/8" up from neutral and 5/8" down from neutral?

Hi Dan,
Yes, that could easily be interpreted both ways but it would help to know what the plane is.
I would guess that they mean 5/8" up and 5/8" down unless it's a micro size plane in which case that would more than likely be the total throw.
