Electronics go waka-waka?

I have a Tiger Moth 3ch RC airplane. After accidentally leaving the battery connected to the plane overnight, I found the throttle wouldn't work. You press the red safety button, the motor starts spinning, but as soon as more throttle is applied the motor stops. The remote seems fine - the elevator and rudder are fully functional. Any idea about what's glitching?

Can you give us a web link to the exact Tiggie you have? Hard to say much without knowing the specs of the model, but the pack could well have been damaged.

It seems to me that the battery is flat. If it's dropped below three volts per cell, you may have a job getting it back - try a balanced charge, if this doesn't do the trick, then a fresh battery would be the obvious choice. The reason that the motor quits when advancing the throttle is most likely to do with the safety setting on the speed controller detecting low voltage and discontinuing the supply of power to the motor, in favour of supplying the receiver. If you have a speed controller set-up card, you can alter the percentage of power that the motor will cut-out at (all this is presuming that you have a BEC type ESC). I hope this is helpful?
