Gas Engine Sizes

My plan calls for an .049 to .061 engine with throttle. When I look for gas engines all I see is .36 to .61.
Do the numbers mean the same regardless of the decimal point?

There's a very big difference between a .049 and a .49 engine, or .061 and .61 etc.
If there's a 0 after the decimal point, then it's going to be a very small engine for a very small plane. Search for 'Cox' or 'AP' engines and you should see some examples.
If there's no 0 after the point, then you're looking at standard size engines for standard rc planes eg a 40, 46, 61...
