Get proper training

Tiger Trainer

Had a couple of lessons from my local club and I thought how hard can this be... So I had a go on my own, bad move as it went straight up then down just as fast.
I then went to the model shop and bought a replacement to try and hide what I had done, but I had a few friends with me who let the cat out of the bag - what a slagging I got, but that's in the past and I learned a lesson the hard way.

Phoenix probs

Hey John, what problems are you having with the sim? Does the new pc not match the required specs? It's a great sim, I use it myself - the Phoenix support team are very helpful and usually quick to respond if you need help. Cheers.

Hi Danny, Bad luck mate, another lesson learned - if it happens again (hopefully not) leave your mates home.
My plane (old broken nose) goes when I hand launch it, turns a few times then lands on its nose. I have saved a few dollars so I bought a Phoenix simulator, guess what?- my new computer will not run it. But it is all fun - hang in there. John. Australia

Good advice!
by: Pete

"Get proper training" is sound advice indeed. You're not the first modeller to think it's easier than it looks, and you certainly won't be the last. Bad luck, but as you rightly say a valuable lesson learned the hard way ;-)
