I am very interested in becoming involved in RC aircraft building/flying, but have no experience whatsoever. My son, who lives in Florida, suggested I contact an RC aircraft club for instruction/assistance, etc. Using listings in Google as a source, the closest club to my home is in Sulphur, LA, a distance of over 40 miles. I had hoped to find something a little closer. Suggestions?

Hi,
I have a few LA clubs listed at http://www.rc-airplane-world.com/louisiana-rc-airplane-clubs.html - if none of those are local try the AMA club locator link at the bottom of that page.
