HX252 RC Helicopter battery

by John Dyson
(Huddersfield)

My son has an HX252 electric rc helicopter with a 7.2v 650mAH battery fitted. I'd like to know please if a 7.4v 800mAH replacement will be ok to improve flying times.

That should be fine, the more mAH you can get, the longer the flight times - but the longer the charge time also.
If upgrading to a Li-Po pack, be sure to get a Li-Po charger - you can't charge Li-Po packs with a charger meant for NiCDs or NiMH packs ;-)
