The JR Venture 30 CP is a very popular gas powered rc helicopter that is intended as an entry level gas helicopter, for those who don't want to progress up the electric helicopter ladder first.

This particular version is the ARF combo kit, which means that the Venture 30 CP does need some final assembly work, but the radio gear and motor are all included in the price.
An ARF gas helicopter is a good way to get to know and understand your model from day 1. This is a good thing, given the complexity of radio control gas helicopters, and will help you understand how things work, and make future maintenance that much easier.
But even though it's sold as an ARF kit, JR have done all the hard work for you - final assembly work for you to do includes bolting on the tail assembly, installing the servos and electronics, and mounting the engine and muffler.
Like most modern rc helicopters, the JR Venture 30 CP uses CCPM (Collective Cyclic Pitch Mixing) which means that the servos control both collective and cyclic pitch, making response instant and smooth.
The JR 6102 heli set is the radio system supplied with the Venture 30 CP, a tried and trusted helicopter radio set. The engine is the Webra Speed 35.
An important feature of this helicopter is the flybar and paddle choice. For your training days, the Venture is fitted with chunkier paddles that create a more definite gyroscopic effect that significantly stabilizes the helicopter in flight.
And for when you're got the hours under your belt and are ready to progress to advanced flying techniques, the second set of paddles that are lighter and thinner, can be used. This makes the helicopter more responsive and agile, and hence aerobatic maneuvers are smooth and precise.
