The biggest feature of the Caribbean Cruiser is the twin motor drive system; 2 powerful '550' electric motors are teamed up to a heavy duty single shaft with a surface-drive setup - an ideal electric racing combination. Both electric motors are water cooled to help them run at optimum efficiency. Water cooling an electric motor greatly prolongs its life.
This combination can power the boat along speeds of up to 25mph and the surface-drive setup creates the spectacular 'rooster tails' that are often seen following any high speed rc boat - great for getting people's attention at the pond!
The hull of this boat features multiple planing strakes which are the most effective way to break up water surface tension and drastically reduce drag, helping the boat cut right through the water as cleanly as possible - a must-have feature for any racing boat.
