NexStar Select 46

I bought my NexStar Select a while back, after loads of research it did seem the best option for what I wanted. I have a bit of experience on electric planes, and a bit on dual rotor helis too, but have always wanted a gas plane :-)
I'm really pleased with my NexStar Select 46! I joined my local flying club and had already put some simulator time in, I flew it solo by the end of the first session!
My instructor has to make a few minor adjustments to the plane, which he told me was normal for an 'RTF' plane. He didn't like the 'AFS' too much so turned it off. The plane flew really well, very stable and plenty of power. All in all, a good choice of gas trainer for a newbie like me :-)

When can I get a Mustang??!

Great gas trainer!
by: Pete

The NexStar Select 46 is a popular gas trainer, it's taught a lot of pilots to fly rc! I've heard mixed reports about the AFS, some like it, some don't...
Thanks for posting, Jon - glad you've got into gas! ;-)
