Radiolink Transmitter and receiver

I bought Radiolink 6CH 2.4GHZ 6EX transmitter but in the manual it says for helicopter use only. Can I use this for a 6 channel plane or shall I buy a different one?
P.S. this is the first time I am using a complex transmitter.

Is it one of these? I'm not personally familiar with that system but there's no reason why you couldn't fly a plane with it, in fact that eBay description says helicopter, airplane and glider.

Naturally you can fly also an airplane but you have in the helicopter version no mixer like v-tail or delta.
