Is it one of these? I'm not personally familiar with that system but there's no reason why you couldn't fly a plane with it, in fact that eBay description says helicopter, airplane and glider.

Naturally you can fly also an airplane but you have in the helicopter version no mixer like v-tail or delta.

Radiolink manufactures Futaba radios, this is the same as the Futaba T6xa. In the programing menus there is a screen to change setting from heli to airplane to glider. Also a sreen for modes 1 through 4 which is throttle stick position. Hope this helps.
