RC engine size

by Gary
(Salisbury, VT)

I have just received an rc airplane with no motor. It has a wing span of 92 inches and is 68 inches long, the plane is made of balsa and is monocoated.
It's a beginner plane because the wing is held on by rubber bands. where the motor goes there is about a 3 inch space. I would say the plane's weight is about 6lbs.
How big of an engine would it take, 2 and 4 stroke?
Thanks, Gary.

Hi Gary, probably the best thing to do is join the forum and upload a photo of it. We can have a good look at it then, and suggest an appropriate engine.
