Regs on RC Gas Plane

by Frey
(Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)

Hi
I'm planning to build a 104" Wnigspan Avro Lancaster and want to know if there are any regulations I need to follow e.g. Rego, planning, engineering or permits, or anything else there may be.

Hi Frey,
I'm not from Australia so don't know for sure, but I suggest looking through the website of the MAAA, or contacting someone, at http://www.maaa.asn.au/. That's the governing body for rc flying in Oz, so if anyone knows, it should be them!

Regs for RC Gas Plane
by: Frey

Thanks for that, I had a look.
What I need to know & could'nt find is
I want to build a 104" W/Span Plane to just fly
I'm not looking for compertition but just to spend time flying a giant scale plane. Avro Lancaster's are a Bomber not a sports plane and probably would'nt take that sort of flying.
I thought there might be some sort of restrictions on that, but all I can find is regs for competition.
So what I'm asking is Can I just build a plane & take it some wear non-populated and just fly?

Thanks
Frey
