Sig Four Star 60 CG

I just built a Four Star 60 with an OS70 engine.
To get the right CG I have to add approximately 8 oz. to the nose, which seems like way too much to me. Any ideas?

8oz does sound a lot of dead weight to add. All I can suggest is the obvious, to try and move the rx battery pack forward as much as possible, hard up against the firewall if needs be, if it'll fit there.

I can relate to your problem. Just completed a Four-Star 60 with Saito 91, and had to add 12 oz to the nose. No way I used that much glue!

A friend cracked his Four Star 60 up and I offered to rebuild it for him - your link to the manual was very helpful in finding and setting up the control surface travels... Thanks...
