Super Cub Conversion to BNF
by: Malcolm

I converted a Super Cub soon after it was purchased mainly due to the very poor Tx supplied with the model. Cannot remember which make servos I used but they were three wire digital servos the same size as the redundant five wire servos. You also have to fit an ESC and if you use the existing brushed motor a simple 10 amp brushed ESC will suffice.
I used a spare Spectrum 2.4 Ghz 6 channel Rx with my Spectrum DX6i Tx.
The Super Cub flies much better using the computer Tx utilising the exponential and dual rate functions on the elevator and rudder.

Well its been 2 nites since I put in the Rx/ESC and the new servos, but it all works, I'm so happy.
I did get the rudder criss-crossed but I figured it out. Thanks for your comments I'm a huge fan of this website. go to go fly - see ya, Dennis Kirkland Arizona.
