Thunder Tiger 39 Pro Heli engine

by Ian

Hi, I am looking for the factory setting for the metering screw, or low end needle, on the TT39 Pro helicopter engine..
Can anyone shed some light on it, please.. Ian

Hi Ian - I'm not sure for that exact engine, sorry, but as a general rule it should be opened 2 to 3 turns from fully closed, and then it's just a case of tuning it as it runs.
Here's a link to the Thunder Tiger Pro 39 manual, maybe that helps... http://www.acehobby.com/ace/PDF/Engine/PRO39H.pdf.
