What happens if my RC boat gets stuck in the middle of a lake?

I am going to get a RC Boat but I have been wondering what happens if a RC Boat runs out of charge or goes out of radio range and gets stuck in the water?

RC boat adrift

Well, if the lake isn't too big and it's a breezy day then you can wait for it to drift ashore. Or if you know someone else with a radio control boat you can get them to drive theirs out to it and retrieve it somehow (push it to shore).
If it's a large lake and the boat is way out then there's not much you can do, unless there are some proper boaters or jet-ski'ers around to ask for help.
But prevention is better than a cure - if you suspect the battery charge is getting low, bring it in for a recharge and just drive it around close to shore :-)
