Which RC plane for me?

Hello... I've been browsing your pages, nice site BTW! I see you make recommendations for newbie airplanes, but my problem is I can't decide to go with gas or electric. Can you sway me in any direction??

 I'd recommend electric...

Hi Frank, this really comes down to personal preference of course but if you're stuck with this decision then I'd say "go electric".
Electric RTF planes these days are excellent value and electric does have benefits over gas - they're cheaper, quieter, cleaner and don't require the accessories that gas planes need.
If you fly electric and really take to the hobby, it's an easy move up to a gas plane ;-)
If you need a recommendation for a suitable plane, any of the ones on the electric planes page are good choices, particularly the HobbyZone Super Cub.
