2.4GHz range

by Zeeshan
(Islamabad)

Hi,
I am using Futuba 2.4 GHz transmitter with my P-51 Mustang RC plane. It only has control range of 500 meters, which is too low. My question is, is there any transmitter and receiver which has range more than 2KM?

While 500 meters is limited, 2km seems a bit excessive! Most modern quality rc sets will have a range that is perfectly adequate, for example the Spektrum DX6i has a range that is 'beyond visual sight', so say the manufacturers.
Much more than a few hundred meters away and your plane will be too small to see ;-)
