Blade CX2 - E-Flite

I bought a Blade CX2 after doing a lot of looking around on the web. I've never flown rc helicopters before and this one seemed the right package for a newbie like myself.

I wasn't disappointed at all - E-Flite have really done well with this and the fact that it comes with the new 2.4GHz digital/spread spectrum radio system is a big thing in its favour, I think.

The instructions are OK, i went through them a few times to be absolutely clear. First flight was nerve-racking, but only because I've never handled a model helicopter before!

I needn't have worried, the Blade flew right off the floor and I was holding a stable hover before I knew it! :-)
What's more, this helicopter looks so cool - I'm not a huge fan of dual rotor helicopters (for looks) but for newbies like me they're a godsend. I hope to try a single rotor one soon, but I'm really enjoying the Blade CX2 for now - no complaints at all.

No maintenance needed so far, even though there have been a few bumpy landings. All in all, a great electric rc helicopter for newbies (and pros I guess!)
