...but its a little bit of wind.

A little of center

A little of center

A little of center Yup, off center a wee bit crooked still crooked.

Took my Radian out for a flight. It was a bit more windy than I would have liked, but I hadn't flown in a few days and the sun was shining, so I threw caution to the wind (literally) and went anyway.

All I can say is, I won't be flying in this wind again. I found it very difficult to control, and to be honest I started to panic that I would lose the plane altogether with the wind at altitude so I started my descent.

All went well until I clipped the top of a tree, and it sent it straight down, nose first into the ground.
The entire nose right up to the rear of the canopy broke off. The only words that came to mind were "oh no"..lol.

Well after 2 hot glue sticks later I got it back together and as you can see by the pictures...it took a beating and now has "character". Enjoy!

Own the wind
by: Chris

Depending on the way the wind is blowing you can have some fun with it. Yeah I don't prefer it either but let's face it, we dont always get the calm weekends to fly in.
If the wind is blowing in one direction you can fly pretty good in it. Now if the wind is 25mph then yeah I would say pass. You can learn a lot by flying in the wind.

Radian's Don't Like Windy Days
by: Anonymous

Ya, did all most the same thing. Hand launched into the wind, plane started to dive, I pulled back on the stick, gave it from half to full throttle, it did a back flip and dove straight down into the ground.....

You too!

This happened to my Radian! I had a series of bad crashes and the nose came off in the last one. After I had glued her back together the nose was off centre exactly the same as in your pics.
It didn't change the way she flew, she flies great and is even stronger! If you look at a brand new Radian you will notice the motor firewall, just aft of the spinner, is deliberately off centre to the right to counter the motor's torque.
