Crash Landing; nose wheel came off

by M Tahir Iqbal

First of all thanks for giving the crashers a chance to share the sadness!

I was with my instructor and I was about to land with no wind. My takeoffs and manoeuvres were awesome as I had trained myself on Flight simulator 98 remote flying.

I was told to make a base leg towards runway, I did but I near the approach path I wanted my Skyraider nitro 4 channel using radio hi-tech optics.
My instructor thought I wouldn't land it but instead he started controlling the plane using his own fingers but I knew I would land it because I had to level the wings, but luckily the nose wheel came off and broke the plastic material which helps to turn wheel either sides.

First I got sad because I had done landings in heavy winds using my flight simulator. But it all happened due to my instructors confusion.

But I'm a pilot and I will fly again - this isn't the end of the world. But I'm pretty confirmed that I should make wide circle as a beginner to level the wings and then let the plane land by decreasing the throttle.
