Heli-Max Kinetic 50

My toy
I attempted to start flying rc helicopters with the Eagle 50; after a few dozen crashes and a hole in my wallet I bought a belt cp, got to hovering with it but was still not liking what I had.
Got an Align Trex 450 kit, put some Hitec 65mg servos and Scorpion motor castle esc and off I went again - I love this little bird, it flys great for a novice piliot like me.
But being the male I am I need more power. Bought a Heli-Max Kinetic 50 nitro; talk about stable - this thing will almost hover itself!
I credit my success to taking my time on the build and doing things right the first time; I believe the setup is the most important part, if the setup is off you will never get off the ground.
My kinetic 50 has OS 50 hyper ringed engine, cyclic and throttle servos are Futaba S3151. I am using the Futaba 401 gyro with the Futaba S9262 servo; no problems with the tail. I use the Futaba &c-2.4GHz FASST radio and matching reciever R617 (I think that is the number).
I fly with a local rc club called the Tulsa Glue Dobbers, what a great bunch of people willing to help anybody with their rc problems. They have brought me a long way - been in the club for 6 months now flying circuits, before joining I could just barely hover; they have brought me a long way.
Then I spend a lot of time on a simulator, wish I would have started on the sim first, it helps if you do not treat it like a game and try to recover instead of crashing. That is my thoughts and advice - have a great day, Rick.
