I destroyed my first RC plane myself!

Total loss

Total loss

I was flying my 2 flights old Boomerang... all of sudden somebody turned on music in a car parked nearby; I was preparing for my landing at that very moment. The sound of music distracted my attention for a split second and I turned around to see who that idiot was (basic mistake taking my eyes off the model).
When I turn my attention back towards my model it was nowhere in sight. We looked around for debris in the anticipated spot but were unable to find any and all of a sudden somebody screamed pointing towards a tree and there it was stuck between branches! It took lot of efforts for me to bring it down. Attached picture will give you rest of the story.
Ciao!

Don't get distracted!
by: Pete

I suppose "Don't get distracted" is the lesson to be learned here - but loud music from cars really p's me off too, and hearing it at the wrong moment like you did is bad news.
Sadly the idiots that blast their music out at full volume don't give too much consideration to the likes of you and me.
Next time, concentrate on the landing and ignore the idiots! ;-)
