Beginners Guide To Flying RC Airplanes ebook

Kyosho Minium AD Piper Cherokee

Mini rc airplanes are getting smarter all the time, and the Kyosho Minium AD Piper Cherokee is one of the latest mini planes to appear on the list.

With a wingspan of just 16 inches, the Kyosho Cherokee is very suitable for flying in smaller outdoor areas and indoor places such as a school hall or gymnasium, popular places for indoor flying. It's RTF (Ready To Fly) and comes equipped with 2.4GHz radio control system, the latest and best rc technology which cuts out the threat of unwanted interference.

The real Piper Cherokee is a very popular light aircraft of course, and this mini rc version is an excellent choice for anyone looking to fly a scale mini electric rc airplane. It follows on from the Kyosho Minium Cessna 210 (aka the ParkZone Cessna 210, apparently manufactured for PZ by Kyosho). Whatever the relationship between the two brands, mini scale rc planes like these are a great buy and a lot of fun!

Adding the 4th channel ailerons to the Minium AD Piper Cherokee makes it all the more scale with the associated improvement in flight characteristics. And while a low wing Cherokee might not be quite as stable as a high wing Cessna, Kyosho have gone all-out to make their Cherokee as easy to fly as possible, regardless of experience.

As you'd expect with a state-of-the-art mini rc plane, the technology under the hood is advanced. The Minium AD Piper Cherokee operates on an ultra compact control unit that plays host to ESC, 3 servos and receiver. And the transmitter is no less well developed, featuring 19-step digital trims, control mode, digital display and an in-built battery charger from which you charge the plane.

Up to 25 Kyosho Cherokees can be flown at the same time (imagine!) and 3 can be tied to the same transmitter - presumably not all flying at once!
