Mini RC trucks
Mini rc trucks have become very popular in recent years, following on the heels of mini rc cars. Both Monster Trucks and Stadium Trucks can be purchased that have been scaled down from their larger, normal-sized cousins.
The 'standard' scale for mini radio control Monster and Stadium Trucks is 1/18 scale, which makes them around the 10 inch long mark. To put this in perspective, a comparison to the other, more common size rc trucks can be seen in the picture to the right.
But they don't stop at 1/18 scale; the Team Losi Micro-T Stadium Truck and its associated cousins halves this size again at 1/36 scale, and sits comfortably in the palm of your hand! (see further down page).

Micro RC trucks
As if 1/18 scale trucks weren't small enough, Team Losi have gone one better and produced a range of 1/36 scale micro rc trucks!
These sit comfortably in the palm of your hand, and are great fun indoors and out. They're remarkably robust and, like their larger 1/18 cousins, require very little maintenance.

The great thing about micro and mini rc trucks like these is that you don't need to know too much about model technology or maintenance to own or run one; they're purchased as RTR ( Ready To Run ) models so it's pretty much a case of buying the radio control gear batteries and away you go.
For not a lot of money, a small-scale rc truck can give you heaps of fun, without even leaving the comfort of your armchair!
