Mustang P-51

The issue is speed more than anything else, and also stability. A P-51 Mustang is quite a fast rc airplane, and if you don't yet have the quick reactions needed to correct the plane then you may get in to trouble.
And because it's a low wing plane, it won't be as stable as a high wing one. Stability is very important when learning to fly radio control, you want your plane to be as forgiving as possible in the air.
Hanger 9 do make a P-51 Mustang trainer, which has been designed to fly slower and more stable than a standard Mustang. It's a gas one though, not electric.
