MX3 nav light w/remote shut off, linked to my LP5DSM radio

How can I work this with my LP5DSM Radio? I have viewed a lot of sites for the install and have that done.
Just that almost everyone is teaching functioning with a DX6 which does not help me at all.

Will I be able to remotely turn on and off with my radio? Or is this going to cost me $200.00 for a DX6 ?

MX3 or CX3?

Do you mean for the E-flite CX3 helicopter? If so, then this is the info from Horizon Hobby's page on it:

"Make sure it is properly connected into channel 5 of the AR6100 receiver. When using the LP5DSM transmitter turning the 5th channel knob clockwise or counter-clockwise will switch the lights on and off. On other transmitters be sure to set the travel adjustment to +/- 100%"
