MX3 or CX3?

Do you mean for the E-flite CX3 helicopter? If so, then this is the info from Horizon Hobby's page on it:

"Make sure it is properly connected into channel 5 of the AR6100 receiver. When using the LP5DSM transmitter turning the 5th channel knob clockwise or counter-clockwise will switch the lights on and off. On other transmitters be sure to set the travel adjustment to +/- 100%"
