ParkZone Messerschmitt Bf-109G

The ParkZone warbirds just get better, and the new Messerschmitt Bf-109G is the latest in the impressive line up.

The ParkZone Messerschmitt Bf-109G looks great in the air!

A difference with this ParkZone Messerschmitt Bf-109G is that it isn't available in RTF form, only PNP (Plug-N-Play) and BNF (Bind-N-Fly), for those with a DSM2 compatible transmitter such as the Spektrum DX6i and DX7, for example.

With a wingspan of 43 inches, this fine electric rc warbird is roughly the same size as the ParkZone Corsair and Trojan planes but is equipped with a lower kv 15 size brushless motor that gives more torque to turn the scale 3 bladed prop.

Nice scale detailing on the ParkZone 109GAnd on the note of scale detailing, ParkZone have done a grand job on their Messerschmitt Bf-109G; the airplane is finished in the livery of WWII Luftwafe ace Erich Hartmann, and includes dummy machine guns, exhaust ports and supercharger intake as well as scale landing gear (unfortunately non-retractable though).
A steerable tail wheel makes the ParkZone 109G very maneuverable on the ground.

Another nice touch is the allowance for landing flaps on the ParkZone Messerschmitt Bf-109G; pre-cut servo bays and a 'cut line' on each aileron make flap installation easy. This will of course add another channel, making 5, but a good transmitter will be able to cope.
And maybe, for the more experienced modeler, the landing gear could be made retractable. Don't quote me on that though!

In the air the Messerschmitt Bf-109G looks great. The 4 channel control means smooth aerobatics are possible as well as realistic scale flying; fast, low gunning runs over the airfield are great fun!
The brushless motor and li-po set-up give the plane plenty of raw power with good flight times, depending of course on how you fly it.
