ParkZone P-51 Mustang
The North American P-51 Mustang is a legend when it comes to warbirds! Its beautiful characteristic shape and its successful wartime history have made it one of the most popular single engine fighters with airplane fans around the world.
The ParkZone P-51 Mustang is an electric rc airplane for anyone looking for an accurate RTF scale example and has already mastered the basics of rc flying.
This plane isn't recommended as a first-time airplane simply because of its faster flying speed, and being a low wing airplane means that it's not quite as forgiving in the air as a high wing plane. But if you have already had some practice with rc airplanes then this P-51 will certainly give you a buzz!
The ParkZone P-51 Mustang comes Ready To Fly and is one of the most accurately detailed RTF electric scale warbirds around, even down to a suitable dressed pilot figure - something that's sadly missing from many scale rc airplanes.
The standard RTF version comes with 3 channel control to motor, elevator and ailerons which are all fully proportional and combined together make the ParkZone P-51 Mustang a very aerobatic model, as well as looking fantastic when flown in a scale manner.
In true ParkZone fashion, the Mustang comes with absolutely everything needed, even the batteries for the radio gear. Also, this P-51 is backed up by a good range of spare parts so it's not the end of the world if something nasty happens while out on a sortie!
As for flying, the transmitter features two settings for different styles and levels of flying; 'setting A' limits the control surface throw for more controlled flying while 'setting B' gives maximum throw for faster aerobatic maneuvers and more aggressive flying for advanced pilots.
Another great feature is that the receiver/ESC module is removable so can be used in any other of the ParkZone 'Plug-n-Play' electric rc airplanes - this is a great option.
