Parkzone Super Decathlon Brushless

by Malcolm
(UK)

This is a great plane and I have completed approx 30 flights. After approx 20 flights I converted the model to 2.4 GHz and the model is even better with a computerised radio via dual rates and expo. However, I used a spare wing to add ailerons and this model does not like ailerons with the amount of dihederal in the wing. In my opinion this model requires a flat wing if ailerons are added.
I did the same modification to a Super Cub and the ailerons only became effective after I flattened the wing-which is easier on the Cub than the Decathlon.
The only other modification I have completed to the Decathlon is to Epoxy the undercarriage legs into the retainers---a requirement well documented by others. The Decathlon is a fun model and does exactly what is expected very well.
