ParkZone Ultra Micro F4U Corsair
The ParkZone Ultra Micro F4U Corsair is a welcome addition to ParkZone's Ultra Micro range of electric rc airplanes and the second warbird to join the line up, after the UM P-51.
Available in either Ready To Fly (RTF) or Bind-N-Fly (BNF) versions for those pilots already owning a DSM2 compatible transmitter, the Ultra Micro F4U Corsair is virtually a scaled-down version of its bigger cousin with full four channel control to motor, ailerons, elevator and rudder.
Given the Ultra Micro Corsair's size (15.9" wingspan) ParkZone have done a good job with the scale detailing; moulded panel lines and dummy radial engine, with authentic 3-bladed prop, give this plane the looks it deserves and two sets of decals are supplied, giving you the choice of making your airplane be that of Ira "Ike" Kepford of the famed Jolly Rogers or that of Greg "Pappy" Boyington from the Black Sheep Squadron.
Decals aside, the ParkZone Ultra Micro F4U Corsair is finished in the standard Navy tri-colour finish.
As with the other Ultra Micro electric rc airplanes, a AR6400 DSM2 receiver is installed along with the renowned AS2000L servos. A single cell 150mAh Li-Po is supplied and you can expect flight times of up to ten minutes.
