The RC Cessna 182 - a popular scale subject

An rc Cessna 182 is a popular choice with model pilots, many of whom hold a Private Pilot License and fly the full size version. And modelers who don't fly full size airplanes often seek out a Cessna 182 kit because, quite simply, it's an airplane with forgiving, stable flight characteristics that looks great in the air!

An rc Cessna 182 does of course follow the traditional trainer design - high wing, dihedral and not over-complicated, making it an ideal model airplane to learn on if you prefer to start off with a scale plane rather than non-scale.
And depending on the complexity of the kit, and your model building experience, your rc 182 can include flaps and even landing lights for the ultimate touch of realism.

There are several rc Cessna 182 kits on the market, some RTF and some ARF. This page will introduce you to just a few of the kits available...
