Spektrum DX6i sticks

by Gil
(Montana)

Hey, I just got a Spektrum DX6i set - nice, great value. But I find the tx sticks make my thumbs sore after a while.... is it me or what? What can I do??

Hey Gil - you are not alone!
I have a DX6i and I can sympathise completely; my thumbs took the punishment also, it's because the end grips of the sticks are like saw teeth!
Unscrew the sticks so they are separate from the tx (don't loose the small grub screws from inside each stick...) and carefully file down the points with a fine modelling file. The ally of the sticks is soft so it doesn't take much work.
Do it away from the tx, so that no ally dust goes into the tx.

It makes a big difference!! ;-)
