TREX 450 SE V2

As delicate as many helis seem to be, the TREX 450 SE V2 holds up in strength and with options to upgrade and/or maintain. CCPM presents a significant challenge but it's the natural next step from co-axial (BladeCX) or FP types.
I wouldn't suggest the TREX 450 SE V2 as the perfect starter kit but if you'd rather take the leap straight to high-end RC's, the build process alone will help you better understand and appreciate the hobby. There's much on the net to help build and tune and get you off the ground, especially on this model. Tap in, it helps!
Align TREX was noted by many as the undisputed leader in this electric rc helicopter class - you won't disagree as an owner, but you WILL be a little nervous of your first crash.
Unlike the "beginner" birds, you'll want to take it slow and build your skills little by little. The average cost of a good crash is around 2 bills. I put the carbon fiber blades away and balanced up the woods (after a crash).
Suggestions for newby's on the TREX 450 SE V2?
Get a good simulator and strap on the training gear, they'll both save you money. Then join a club and get help from someone experienced. You won't regret it.
The bottom line? I've yet to see anything come close in the 450 size electric helicopter class. The TREX SE V2 is tops - period.
My T-Rex 450 "Extreme"

T-Rex 450 "Extreme"
After my headfirst leap into heli-kits (starting with the T-Rex 450SE V2), I decided to build a T-Rex 450 using handpicked, top quality parts and upgrades from various sources.
This bird has the best of MicroHeli, Duzi and Align upgrades, plus top end electronics, as well as quality airbrushed canopy from Canomod.
Every little detail and function was thought through carefully, starting with the little things. Aside from looking pretty cool, it also turned out to be one of best machines in the air. The pic tells it best.

My T-Rex 450 SE - it's my love!
I have been flying for 6 months in China, but I can just pull off hovering. My worst crash was so terrible that it is almost completely broken!
I will attend the ASU to study business and I hope I may find many friends who play with rc helicopters.

The T-rex 450 in semi-scale EC135. A great little model helicopter, nice stable flight and very clean.
